It's the final time the players will take the practice field before heading west to Arizona.  The players are scheduled to have just a brief walk-through for 45 minutes.

 9:37 AM The players have just taken the field for the walk thru. They're on the turf field at Millsaps stadium, in shorts and jerseys, but no pads or helmets.

9:52 AM The entire defense is in the endzone walk through formations.

9:57 AM On a sidenote, We were just discussing the ongoing Brett Favre saga. If Favre does in fact get traded to Tampa, which is a likely possibility, the Favre fans in Mississippi will have their beloved Brett close to home in Week 1.The Bucs travel to New Orleans to face the Saints in the season opener.

10:12 AM Practice just finished, after the defense worked out with the scout team offense for a few plays.

The team is headed into the lockerroom and will be leaviing for Arizona early this afternoon. Coach Payton won't be talking with the media.
