The Saints began Day 12 of Training Camp with a few roster moves. The team waived defensive tackle Tim McGill and signed rookie free agent defensive end Jeremy Geathers. Geathers is a 6-2, 245-pound defensive end, played two college seasons in Las Vegas after transferring to UNLV from Butler (Kan.) Community College. Originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Saints on May 5, 2008, Geathers spent most of the offseason with the club before being waived prior to the start of training camp. He is the son of former Saints and NFL star defensive lineman Jumpy Geathers.
