Cloudy skies this morning as the Saints enter Day Eight of Training Camp. This morning's session is scheduled to be a light morning of walk-thrus.

9:15 AM The are a good number of fans out here to catch this morning's practice, as the players are warming up on the field.

9:35 AM Everyone has gone in, except for the special teams players. LB Jonathan Vilma is doing extra individual work, like he's done every other morning of walk-thrus while special teams practices.

Press Conference Tidbits:

-Not much changed on the defensive front, other than the two new signings yesterday. In addition to signing defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis yesterday, the Saints also signed safety Curome Cox, a four-year veteran who played primarily as a reserve with the Broncos and Texans.

-Today's morning session was primarily a special teams workout so there isn't much news to report, but the later practice this afternoon should be a more vigorous workout for the players.

-Some NFL officials will be at camp for the next few practices to help educate the players and coaches on some of the new rules and clarify some of the existing ones.
