Franklin Co. tops Hazlehurst 35-20

The Franklin County Bulldogs defeated the Hazlehurst Indians 35-20 Friday night. Quarterback Jamie Collins had three rushing touchdowns and one passing. Hazlehurst scored quickly going up 8-0 early in the first quarter behind a Cornelius Crump 51 run.  The Bulldogs took a 14-8 lead on a 17-yard run from Collins. The Indians did tie it up a 14-14 in the third, but the Bulldogs would never relinquish the lead. 

With the win, Franklin County earns the right to play at Columbia next Friday. Columbia beat South Pike 25-14 Friday.
