Lanier Strong Showing Against Forest Hill

Bulldogs top the Patriots 71-49

By Travis Recek

The Lanier boy's basketball team continues their hot start with a 71-49 victory at Forest Hill Thursday night.

The Patriots carried an early lead in the game even without starting point guard Andre Stringer, who left for a while with an ankle injury. But the Bulldogs came back behind the hot shooting of Marcus Harper and Alex Thompson to grab the 39-30 lead at halftime.

Lanier did not look back and coasted to the 71-49 win. The Bulldog's have a big showdown at Meridian next Tuesday, while Forest Hill will head to Callaway for their next game.
