Jackson Police are searching for two men who killed a man on the soutside.
35-year-old Aaron Payne was shot in the stomach Monday night shortly after 8:00 p.m.
Police say Payne was shot in the 1800 block of Elaine Street. Payne was taken to the hospital where his injuries were not listed as life threatening. Payne's conditions deteriorated overnight and he died around 3:00 a.m. this morning.
Police contend the gunmen had their faces covered during the shooting. The men are believed to be in their late teens to early twenties.
